Repco Malaysia was incorporated in 1976 by Repco Australia although it had its beginning a decade earlier. Riding on Repco Australia's expansive range of products, Repco Malaysia was well known for its brake fluid and brake system products.

As a result of ownership change in Repco Australia, Repco Malaysia became independent in 1989 when a few of the senior employees did a MBO. In 1991 it was listed on the Second Board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange but the shareholders took quick profit when they divested their shares in 1993.

Fortunately, the business of promoting and distributing spare parts, brake fluid and lubricants continue to grow amidst ownership changes. The foundation of holding steadfast to the policy of supplying quality products to the market and with integrity has put Repco in good standing with its customers.
